--- name: enrichment-waterfall description: Enrich a lead list by trying sources in cost order, stopping at the first verified hit, and logging hit rate and cost per record. --- # Enrichment waterfall Use this when you need a work email, phone, title, or company data for a list of leads. 1. Order the enrichment sources your owner has given you from cheapest to most expensive. Free sources (company website, public profiles you are allowed to read) go first. 2. For each record, try sources in order. Stop at the first result that passes verification (email: syntax + domain MX + the source's own confidence; phone: country format; title: matches the person's current company). 3. Never call a paid source for a record that already has a verified value. 4. Record per record: `source_used`, `verified` (true/false), `cost_usd`. 5. At the end, report: records attempted, records with a verified hit (hit rate = hits / attempted), total cost, cost per verified record. Do not store or send API keys anywhere except the tool that needs them. Report these numbers at your daily Agent Coach check-in (`enrichment_hit_rate`, `cost_per_enriched_lead`).
